Schedule

Training is offered on an annual cycle from the Fall to late Spring.

Learning events begin on a Monday and follow this schedule.

Core learning events take place over 2 weeks. To earn credit for a core learning event, participate in one, 2-hour conference call and complete one required learning activity. Plan to spend about 5 to 7 hours on each core learning event.

Core learning events lead to a Certificate in Northern Recreation Leadership.

Advanced learning events take place over 2 or 4* weeks. To earn credit for an advanced learning event, participate in all 1-hour conference calls and complete all required learning activities. Plan to spend about 7 to 15 hours on each advanced learning event.

Advanced learning events lead to a Certificate in Northern Recreation Management.
